The foods we choose to consume can influence specific mental functions, like memory and concentration and can impact our overall brain health. In this session, we will learn how to cook and eat delicious foods to feed and nurture our brains.

ServSafe® Food Manager Certification Class

This course is a 1-day class with book and exam provided. Current Food Managers can attend 4 hours of this course to earn their certificate of completion to apply for (continuing education) license renewal.

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of foodservice industry experts.

The agenda for the day will go as follows (there will also be periodically breaks)

8:00am-11:30 am: Morning Instruction

11:30am-12:00 pm: Lunch Break

12:00pm - 4:00 pm: Afternoon Instruction

4:00pm -5:00 pm: Certification Exam

These organs work hard to eliminate waste produced during the metabolic process. Maximizing the body’s ability to detoxify itself can help to improve the function of our metabolism so we can burn calories and eliminate waste from the body more efficiently.

Different foods can influence blood pressure, cholesterol levels as well as inflammation, which are risk factors for heart disease. In this session, we will learn how to prepare delicious foods that can help to heal our hearts.
